Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

BD- Beautiful pic. I actually enjoy pre-hunt scouting trips more than the hunts themselves.

I second that straight8. Besides, a camera's a lot easier to lug around than a gun.

Got that right - a camera is a lot easier for me. I love the walk when I head out with friends this time of year - keeps the tracking and scouting skills sharp, but I don't hunt anymore so I just take pictures.

One of these days I'm going to actually break down and purchase the 600mm telephoto I've had my eyes on for some action and wildlife shots in the woods. :>)
