It's so thoughtful of Prof. Plimer to confirm everything we climate skeptics have been saying for years -- that carbon dioxide has only a minimal involvement in global temperature variations, that CO2 increases follow temperature increases not cause them, that James Hansen and his Band of Merry Men should have included the Medieval Warming Period and the Little Ice Age in their initial computer calculations [very sloppy omission that] if they wanted to make accurate future climate predictions, and that Al Gore, like many venal politicians, grabbed on to this issue as a way of assuaging his bruised ego after losing the presidential election.

In a lifetime of viewing the deliberate lies of politicians, this global warming thing is one of the biggest scams I have seen. And now Congress wants to further cripple our economy by passing cap-and-trade legislation, which will function rather like a Value Added Tax on all aspects of manufacturing. And we all know how well the VAT has worked in Britain ... *not*.
