Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Charles is one of the smartest guys in DC and certainly in the media. Pelosi should start looking for a retirement community.

Yes, her armor is called a waffle iron...

Krauthammer is only like 7x as smart as Pelosi...she would do well to take note of what he says.

I watch the truly gifted pundits like Krauthammer and wonder if politicians turn on their TVs to hear what they have to say. It makes me ansty sometimes just hoping that they watch. Or read - for instance, the piece by VDH linked above.

Krauthammer was hot tonight. Black turtleneck in place of his usual tie. He was hot, as well, about Pelosi taking on the CIA. As he said - No one takes on the CIA and wins. Then he talked a little about Netanyahu's visit next week. I got a chill up my leg. Krauthammer takes no prisoners when it comes to taking the Israelis lightly. I'd give anything to witness that little chat.

Entering into a war with the CIA is just an example of how utterly stupid this woman is. As Krauthammer says, she can't even memorize her own honest statement. It was just a matter of time before she imploded. It will be fun to see her walked off of the house floor babbling......

Fascinating..but so much a part of the liberal/left psychological make-up...truth being relative to need. It's quite conspicuous in the messiah as well as when he tap dances around his amazing contradictions, evasions, and cow pads.

Someone pointed out on another blog that the Democrats won't "walk her off the Floor babbling" because that would reflect badly on them. One scenario is that there will be another press conference in the near future calling for public sympathy for Poor Nan, who is suffering from some dread, and rare, disease, and has to reluctantly withdraw from her "leadership" of the House to be treated in some remote care facility. Be interesting if Obama rations her "care," won't it?

Yes that is the most likely scenario, we will dig deep and forgive her as she fades into the western sunset, hopefully riding a Greyhound Bus not flying on an expensive gmint plane!
