Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Ok--the gang of women who have helped to destroy the Episcopal Church: the same gang of women, who have stolen at least two gubernatorial elections; the same gang of women, who through a corrupted election process, kept Ron Simms (new under secretary of Housing) in an office in WA state he had many, many times been removed from by election--that same gang of women who destroyed AG Gonzales because he tried to clean up the election process here in WA; that gang of women want now to have their most recognizable figurehead--Christine Gregoire to be a Supreme Court Justice! In WA state they don't call her "Garbage Gregoire" for nothing!

I believe that the reasons for the focus on "socializing" the health care systems are several:

1. Cannot regulate corrupt accounting practices--so medicare cannot cover.

2. Medicare, which was intended for older Americans, who had worked hard all their lives, so they would not have to worry so much, nor be so vulnerable to item #1, is stretched even further, because of the free medical plan for all incoming illegals from Mexico.

3. Have to do something--even if it is wrong!

I think that's a Jack Kramer Autograph in the picture. The Pro Staff had two diamonds on the shaft and could only be purchased from your tennis pro. Both were great. Thirty years ago, I played junior tournaments with a pro staff.
