Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

odd but cool, Phil Collins --the Brit rocker --has fallen in love with the story of the Alamo --search his name along with Alamo for some fun reads (i'd link but it takes all day to try to get a URL thru the spam filter --and then ya fail & give up in the end)

Go to Google, type in El Deguello and go to the You Tube site, there are several beautiful recordings of this: I particularly like the Lele piece and the harmonica piece, click on each and enjoy.

Do you have any source for the bugle call beyond the YouTube clip? In particular, I'm looking for a score of bugle calls or a history beyond the very skimpy Wikipedia article.
