Obama's promise made during his campaign to bankrupt America's coal companies is a prime example of his lack of knowledge of how the world really works. Research will show you [and would have showed him if he had been interested enough to seek it] that approximately 50% of the nation's electric power is generated by coal-fired generating plants. And until we develop more offshore drilling, or build more nuclear power plants, we're going to have to generate the majority of our power this way.

So the dam' fool wants us to freeze in the dark. For all the Americans located in the Northern part of the country that seems to be a realistic possibility right now.
