We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
She is free to release her therapist's notes to anybody she wants. I can tell you that, as far as psychotherapy goes, I keep few and minimal notes for a multitude of reasons, mostly illegible, and none at all on electronic medical records. Very often, no notes at all. I just follow the process and the progress. Typical therapy note of mine:
"Career issues. Mood ok. Needs a hobby. Same meds. Good session."
It's all a elaborate lie. All of it. And she doesn't care if she discredits actual women who have been abused, the therapy profession or the believably of women writ large. Don't care. Gotta stop Trump... gotta stop Kavanaugh.
And it's all unraveling and great damage is being done. The good inference is: normal people will #walkaway from the Democrats.
I was just thinking (I know I shouldn't do that as it brings on my headaches) about the torrent of smears, insults and lies Kavanaugh has had to endure during the nomination process.
I know justices are supposed to be impartial, but after the abuse he has taken from the Democrats, how could that not help but influence every decision he is involved in that Democrats have an interest in the outcome?
One would think that by the time he is seated on The Court he would have a burning hate for Democrats inside him and would be a judicial mortal enemy.
The point being that if the dems had treated him politely, perhaps they would have been more likely to receive a favorable decision now and then, where as now I would think that would be much less likely.
But then perhaps I don't understand human nature as well as I believe or perhaps Kavanaugh can compartmentalize the hate that has been directed toward him and not let it influence his court decisions?
