Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

All Hallow's Eve

... going to your school’s Halloween party wearing pants embroidered with sailboats, carrying a gin-and-tonic, and wearing a name tag that says “Chip” or “Muffy” while spouting off-color jokes about Catholics, Jews, Negroes, Homosexuals and Communists trivializes the 400 years of toil it took our ancestors to build a life for us in suburban Connecticut.

I had a jacket like that once--but I was 10. And those are funny looking gin & tonics.

My costume for halloween, Indian headress, "Make America Great Again" t-shirt, pink toy gun and holster, eating a taco while drinking pina colada, and wearing my red cowboy boots.

To all of you I might offend, consider it a REAL world experience. Now off to your safe spaces.

Halloween must be too much for Zachriel, notice he hasn't been around.

On the blogs I read the real pro-Clinton shills appear to have gone to ground. The ones who play #NeverTrumpers are slowly returning. I'm sure we'll see the gang of Z before next weekend, once the lies for the final effort to drag Hillary's carcass over the finish line are focus-grouped.
