We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Very inteligent birds. I have had them follow the dog's and I when quail hunting. Shot a double on the covey rise and when the dog went to retrieve the second bird a Cooper's hawk rose from the sagebrush with the second bird in his talons.
Your unexpected, but most welcome comment is much appreciated. As you can see from my comment I am in agreement with you regarding the nature of the bird.
I am sadden to hear of your gastric/canal problems, what ever. Try some digestive advantage.
As for the other readers who don't know that the bird is a Canadian Goose, try some lazik surgery.
