Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

The Greendale Mall in Worcester was demolished and is ironically being replaced by an Amazon distribution hub.
Catechism of the climate emergency... The neo-Malthusian rite has replaced that old time religion in the NWO/BBB. And the monks of antifa bearing torches to lead the way along with the 87,000 new IRS agents.
Thanks to the great success in bringing in foreign replacement workers Biden has declared that from now on Labor Day would be known as Cinco de Trabajo. There are plans to rename election day too.
Exercising school options... We need vouchers to escape the Malthusian religion taught in public schools. Fund the student/parent and not the institution.
If Joe “Boommerang” Biden gives a speech, and hardly anybody listens, is it still a speech, does it matter? Less than 4million viewers between CNN and MSNBC, the other networks didn’t carry it. I watched on Tim Pool where they were plying Biden Bingo. I didn’t see the unfortunate imagery until later. I wondered how big the audience was because the smatterings of applause were tepid. Other than the insults, histrionic divisiveness, and creepy obsession with MAGA, the Timcast panel thought it was a lot of nothing. I thought it was 29 minutes too long.
Good news for Vietnam era veterans. Jane Fonda has announced that she plans to join Benedict Arnold soon. I do hope her final resting place is easy to get to so that I and millions of other Vietnam era vets can get to it to pay our final respects by pissing on her grave. I will salute all of my friends who died in Vietnam and those who came back wounded and broken.
They are going to need to construct a drainage ditch around her grave to handle all the piss that will be draining off it. May she rot in Hell under everlasting torment.
The Democrats want more than anything to make the midterm elections a referendum on Trump rather than a referendum on Biden. A compliant media will of course go along with that plan. All Trump, all the time.
Remember when the FBI raided Epstein Island and confiscated 50,000 pictures, documents and videos and spread them out on the floor, took a picture of the creeps who molested young girls and leaked the picture to the NY Times?
Yeah! I don't remember that either. Wonder why. Was Pedo Brandon in it and they are using those pictures to blackmail him to do their bidding. Naw! I didn't think so. Re; Shopping malls. I grew up in a pretty rural area and he hour+ trip to a mall was like a trip to a another universe of wonder and options. Since I knew upfront the article was from the New Republic, I was on the alert for the high-browed disdain of the lumpen sort of people like me - “racist” “soulless” and so on; this allowed me to relax and enjoy some of the observations the writer made. What would be a great article by the TNR? A deep dive in how TNR writers express disdain for the hellish, soulless suburban landscape they were forced to grow-up in before they were escape to the Big City... a theme that goes way back, simply replace “suburbs” with “Midwest farms”
Yeah I have 3 university degrees, think Chandler, AZ is emblematic of the greatness of American civilization, and I bake my own cookies. And I have guns... lots of guns that I am usually cleaning while listening to Bach or trying to explain to the kids why Hegel was such a wiener. indyjonesouthere.... as far as funding parents not schools, go look at Arizona which just passed a voucher law that funds not only private and parochial school children but also homschoolers. One takeaway I had from witnessing the parents protesting the Loudoun County School Board last year was that while the energy was impressive that it wasn't sustainable; in most of these cases administrators and teachers will wait them out and in a few years the energy will dissipate, The only long-term answer is a form of parental choice. The gay/queer/trans and otherwise mentally ill community went from all we want is to be left alone and live our lives to forced gender changes on children and grooming kindergarten children secretly and providing sex shows disguised as school trips. And you're a homophobe if you disagree. With Darth Brandon doing his Hitler imitation one wonders what is next, gas chambers for MAGA Republicans?
So of course it took that one!
One of the first suburban shopping malls in the world was a place called Shoppers' World, in Framingham, Massachusetts. I used to go there as a wee tyke with my grandmother, who was a maven of fashion and an epicurean as well. The mall was great - 1950's futuristic design, with a central domed Jordan Marsh store (later Filene's) that looked like a giant flying saucer, and radiating spokes with other shops, covered outdoor walkways with garden paths for accessing the other shops, and other innovations. I think it was eventually torn down in the 90's, but in the early 60's, it was the place to go. It was really a neat, open-air concept. There's even a Wiki page for it: [urlhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shopper%27s_World[/url] Nowadays it would be considered a tremendous waste of space to structure a shopping mall with open-air and gardens, but I have to say it's a lot more pleasurable to go there then some giant warehouse of shops. The next time a homeless camp needs to be cleaned out, they should forego the kids who want to help and just go with a bulldozer.

Yale Group Says Students Who Cleaned Litter From Homeless Camp Committed ‘Violence’: The cleaners should dump it on the Yale complainers... Biden White House: You Must Agree With The Majority, Otherwise You Are An Extremist; Time for Bull droppings! As I like to say, the STUPID is STRONG in these ones! No on is going to "fix" public education. It's very creation in the US was the "get the Catholic kids". Now it is controlled by enemies of the communities in which they reside who are after the kids. Diversity just brings the problem of compulsory, government controlled schools. Vouchers and razing the schools of education are the only way to go.
QUOTE: In all areas of mixed nationality, the school is a political prize of the highest importance. It cannot be deprived of its political character as long as it remains a public and compulsory institution. There is, in fact, only one solution: the state, the government, the laws must not in any way concern themselves with schooling or education. Public funds must not be used for such purposes. The rearing and instruction of youth must be left entirely to parents and to private associations and institutions. --Mises, Ludwig von (1927). Liberalism I heard that the podium at Independence Hall still smells like Sulphur 24 hours after Biden's speech.
Line 5 controversy: You will see this in the news in the coming months, especially if we have a bad winter. Excellent thread by @Doomberg
https://twitter.com/DoombergT/status/1566013690301792257 Much has been said and done concerning Alex Jones and the Sandy Hook incident. He lost bigtime in court but I doubt that the NY Times would have lost for the many times they lied and disparaged people intentionally. My first reaction is how could he lose a free speech case? I dunno, juries do stupid stuff.
But my real issue is the incident itself. Go ahead, try and get a complete story about what happened, I mean every detail. Ill wait... Can't do it can you. For some reason that seems inexplicable the authorities and the MSM colluded to keep most of what happened secret. Why? Into this conspiracy to keep what should be public information secret enters Alex Jones who made a living out of shing light (or darkness) on secrets and conspiracies. Whatever you think of Mr. Jones don't you wonder what are they hiding? Why are they hiding it? "Surprise! The Biden Administration And Deep State Are Behind Massive Systematic Suppression Of Disfavored Speech On Social Media"
So much for the argument of "It's only a First Amendment violation if the government gets involved. If it's just private corporations limiting free speech then it doesn't count, heh hehe" made by progressives for the last few years. Bollocks. Democrats and the MSM are in full coverup mode hiding and denying the stolen 2020 election. Many Republican politicians are trying to ignore it and walk away from it and focus on the 2022 election. But about half the country knows that the election was indeed stolen. Continuing to lie about it and trying to ignore it won't change their mind. 10 years from now those same people will still know that the election was stolen and everything Biden did during his fake presidency was treason. All of this is no secret, many, especially on the left, are in denial of all this but they all know it at some level. What should have happened is the SCOTUS should have ruled to freeze the election and have a full scale investigation and if it was clear that the election was stolen to then rerun the election. But they failed to do t his even though it may well have been their highest calling under our constitution. What the entire Republican party, including never Trumpers, should have done is demand that each offending state and county be fully investigated and each one in which election fraud was proved should have had their electoral college votes pulled. WHY? Because half the country knows the election was stolen and will never forgive or forget. THAT is the great division. THAT is the threat to our democracy. THAT is what will likely cause an actual civil war in this country. We screwed up by not fixing it right away so now it will forever be an open bleeding sore and we will always know who caused it and then lied and covered it up.
