We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Actually, I think that is a lot how my daughter's brain works...she has ADHD. She just found out not too long ago and got on medication for it about six months ago. She was describing to me what it feels like when she is on medication vs. off medication and it sounds a lot like this video.
There's also the "walking through the doorway" part. You're in one room, think of something you need to do in another, walk through the doorway to that second room and pfft you can't remember what you were going to do.
