Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

He believes in freedom. God bless him, because he wants to devolve power from on high, and he doesn't mince his words.

Mr. Farage is the single voice of sense in Brit Parliament.

Dear Leatherneck,

While in agreement with your sentiments here, Mr. Farage is not a member of the British parliament.

This bland, monstrosity of a chamber is one of the two European Parliament buildings, where he serves as a representative of his party and country as a Member of the European Parliament MEP.

Mr. Farage uses words, and the power of conviction in use of same. He is ignored by the EU Parliament, just as some soul here speaking such truth would be ignored by the Senate and the House.

This is the battle that was lost, which may lose the war, that our very vocabulary has been so corrupted, with purpose and intentionality, that it is virtually useless. What now.

Hey - remember when the Oil cartels proposed making the Euro the world's reserve currency rather than the dollar? Think anyone's going to sign up for that soon?
