Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Hide The Decline



Apart from the newly-coined phrase 'Climategate', another term that's slowly entering the public lexicon is "hide the decline."  I've seen it mentioned in four or five articles recently.  A Google search pulls up over four million results for that exact phrase, the vast majority of them meaning exactly what you think it means.

Oh, too funny! Meanwhile, the hubris of this guy Michael Mann. He is going out - weather channel interview and NPR at least is where I heard him - publicly defending himself, well, actually demeaning the whole issue of Climategate. Creepy guy.

But, these M4GW guys are way funny.

And if that song is stuck in your head you can go check out another of their videos. Quite different in style, sung to the tune "If I Had a Million Dollars," it is the official song of the Minnesotans FOR Global Warming and it too is wickedly funny! Or shall I say, wicked funny:
