Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

It's high time, (no pun intended) for Republican's to call for the withdrawal of America's troops from Muslim problems.

We have accomplished the mission, driving Taliban from power in Afghanistan and effectively diestryying al Qaida.

Mudboy Hussein's regime is set on bringing America to shame in Pashtunistan, despite his rhetoric.

Bring American troops home and let the Muhammadans in the area have at their perpetual war amongst their own kind.

Agreed. I have no idea what else we could possibly accomplish at this point. No one has the appetite to support the type of regime needed to bring and maintain order there. Our troops and supply lines are horribly vulnerable for what benefit I don't understand.
